A: I started acting professionally 2009.
After school way back in calabar cross river state. Before moving to Lagos state to fully pursue the journey.
After school way back in calabar cross river state. Before moving to Lagos state to fully pursue the journey.
XAM: Why did you choose acting?
A: Well I would say nothing made me go into acting....reverse is
the case here..."I think acting choose me. I can literally remembered
shying away from dramatic club..but they always have their ways of dragging me
to join the club. I had this mad love for Nigerian films...can literally watch
and narrate to friends from start to finish.
XAM: How was it like growing up?
A: Growing up was quite an experience. I spent most of my
childhood in Jos plateau state where I was born...I virtually grew in Different
places. Am just a cool reserved sort of human being.
XAM: Aside acting, what else do you love doing?
A: Aside acting....I have a thing for voicing....I literally do
voice over’s....but in a nutshell acting is my number one.
XAM: Any award yet?
A: Hahahahah….. no don't get it twisted I never won any award
yet...I was just blessed to present on Amaa stage...but soon though by God's
grace...lol.. The hustle is real.
XAM: Have you had any challenges
getting into the industry or getting movie roles?
A: Absolutely every industry has its own challenges...its not an
easy industry... But then "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I
keep my hustle real and I work hard to get a role.
XAM: What do you do for fun, favorite
sport and meal
A: What I do for fun....hmmmmm first of all am a boring person...I
can't keep a long conversation..but I love to read...see good movies and make
researches..so yea. I don't have favorite sport but I love going to the
movies...and my favorite meal will be beans and dodo...that I can make very
well...
XAM: Favorite quote
A: My nine favorite quotes...I can't literally list all here but
I leave you you with this one." We don't know how much we can rise, until
we are asked to rise.
XAM: Your dressing style is
really unique, would you tell us about your style?
AARON SUNDAY |
A: Wow thank you very much....well I like what looks good on me
and what fits perfect on my body. But I would say smart casual. Am simple
person in nature...I don't like too much just simplicity.
XAM: What is the most challenging
movie role you have ever come across or have done so far?
A: Right to be frank with you I am yet to get that movie
role...which I am very much open too....The role I played on Emerald a seven
series production..Femi Allen was in a way deep...and really stressed me
out....but I love that in a role.
XAM: How do you cope with female fans, are you single?
A: Hahahhaa now that's a laugh...I only treat them fairly...make
them happy by given them time...I chart with them and all....but am not
single....
XAM: What’s your most
embarrassing moments?
A: Hmmmmm...My embarrassing moment was on a movie set. I got a
wrong call time...only for me to find out I wasn’t supposed to be on the days
schedule...wasn't my fault but that of the pm....was crazy.
XAM: How well do you know your
culture and traditional.
A: Hahahahah... I know my culture and tradition very well...trust
me.
XAM: The western culture has
almost wiped out our culture, how can we ensure our African culture isn't
eradicated?
A: Yes...I think its high time parents speak their mother tongue
to their children at homes....there are some kids who literally can't speak
their language... Too much TV and cartoons is gradually taking the minds of
kids of today away from the norms of their culture and traditions....charity
begin at home....
XAM: What's your favorite African or local meal?
A: My favorite or local food....chai...anytime..anyday I can kill
for afang and wheat.....I loveeeeee that meal.
XAM: Tell us what we need and how to prepare it
(Ingredients and spices)?
A: Hahahahah… come now that's a question for another day..... But
it isn't hard to prepare though....lol.
XAM: As a fitness instructor
how has it helped u or d challenge u have face as regarding your acting carrier?
A: Well fitness goal is something...I developed in a while
now...Most people who have come across my path know that I don't joke with
fitness....because how can you not workout to stay healthy...My brand Aaron Sunday is all about fitness...and most
of the role I have gotten fitness has contributed a whole lot to it...my Body
and voice are my major tool...I get roles based on my body
shape...(Muscleinity). Challenges sometimes you get internal injuries and stuff
but that's not enough reason to stop.#No pain No gain...am sure you have come
across that quote.
XAM: What advice do you have for
upcoming actors that want to be like you or see you as a role model?
A: First of all find a passion on what makes you happy. Work
hard and back it up with God. Understand your journey. Believe in yourself. Get
some kinda education on what you want to do...even if you can't go the school
for a proper eduction...take short courses to have you grounded.
XAM: Any last words for your fans
out there?
A: This is the part I feel honored..my last words for my fans
and people who believed in me and my journey..Thanks for believing me and I
really appreciate all..Bless up.
